Beautifully written & described, i always like to explore such off-beaten places, which is more for locals then for tourists.

This place looks incredible. Was supposed to go down to Hong Kong when I was in Shanghai for a wedding last time. Definetly putting it on my list when I go back to Asia. Fantastic post!

It’s so satisfying to get away from the city. the bay certainly looks inviting, i would sure like to be sitting on the beach by those interesting hexagonal rock right now x

Really a stunning place. Loved the boat with color coordinated fish boxes. And the rock formation is amazing. I think if i went there, i’d promise to come back as well

Sai Kung looks wonderful! Such a gorgeous location and so different to Hong Kong in the city areas. I love the picture of the fishing boat, so evocative!

Your photos are absolutely gorgeous! I’ve never been to Hong Kong but I’ve heard it is crazy busy – it looks like Sai Kung is the perfect contrast to that hustle and bust of the city!

Oh boy, this place makes me fall in love all over again. I would love to check out the giant hexagonal rocks in Sai Kung for sure, besides trying the delicious food and taking a ferry ride. Cheers!!

I’ve only been as far as Sheung Shui in the New Territories. Sai Kung looks so tranquil compared to the hustle and bustle of HK. The food sounds amazing too! When I’m in HK next, I will definitely visit Sai Kung!

Its interesting how you have managed to find a lesser known place in Hong Kong. .. you are not a tourist but a traveler isn’t it? By the way Sri Lankan dinner in a lesser known place is even more intriguing! Thanks for a nice post!
